Precautions

Liquid crystal display (LCD for short) is a precision semiconductor photoelectric component. To ensure the normal operation of LCD, please pay attention to the following items during assembly and use:

LCD must be used and stored within the range of working and storage temperature and humidity required during product development. Generally, the storage humidity of LCD is within 65% RH, otherwise LCD may not work normally or all components on LCD may be damaged;

Do not use corrosive solvents to clean the LCD, otherwise the polarizer on the LCD may be corroded and damage the LCD's normal display. It is recommended to use analytical pure alcohol to clean the LCD, and never use acetone to clean the LCD surface;

LCD is a glass device. Please handle it with care when using, and do not rub or collide with any hard object, otherwise it may cause LCD glass to be scratched, broken, polarizer to be scratched and other destructive damage;

Except for the protective film on the polarizer, please do not attempt to disassemble any other components on the LCD by any method, otherwise it will cause permanent destructive damage to the LCD;

If the zebra paper has been pressed on the LCD, please be sure to assemble the LCD to the circuit board within 30 days after receiving the LCD, otherwise the LCD may not be bonded to the circuit board normally. When storing this type of LCD, please ensure that the ambient temperature and humidity requirements: temperature: 18 ℃～ 25 ℃, humidity: 40% RH ～ 65% RH, otherwise the zebra paper on the LCD will lose its viscosity and cannot be assembled on the circuit board;

If the LCD is equipped with a metal pin (PIN), please pay attention to the welding temperature and welding time during welding. It is recommended to use an electric iron below 35W during welding, and the welding time should not exceed 3 seconds per pin. If the length of the metal pin is less than 5.0MM, please add a heat dissipation device to the pin during welding;

Unless otherwise specified by the product, do not use DC power or signal to light or drive the LCD, otherwise the LCD may be permanently damaged.
